Cara Instalasi Mikrotik Server

Langkah awal untuk menginstall router ini adalah dengan tersenyum, bercanda dulu
dengan rekan-rekan, berguyon ria sampe ketawa keras hingga akhirnya teriak
dengan kencang sebanyak 100 kali “INI SANGAT MUDAHHHHHHHHHH”
hehehehe
Setelah berbagai keruwetan pada wireless, kini tiba saatnya kita meng utak atik
servernya, disisi jaylangkung.com menggunakan mikrotik untuk manajemen
bandwidth serta routernya.
Disini akan di bahas manajemen bandwidth dari speedy, jadi dari modem ADSL
turun kabel RJ45 kmudian masuk ke LAN CARD komputer yang telah di install
mikrotik
Alasannya karena sangat mudah di gunakan, dan spek komputer yang di butuh kan
juga bersahabat.
Ok langsung saja proses instalasinya.
Pertama kali yang harus di siapkan adalah komputer server minimal dengan
spesifikasi :
· prosesor PII
· Memory 128
· NIC (LANCARD) 2 buah
· Hardisk minimal 1giga
· CDroom
1. Mulailah mendownload mikrotiknya, download ISO nya disini :
http://www.mikrotik.co.id/getfile.php?nf=mikrotik-3.4.iso
2. Kemudian bakar di CD, burning Image
3. Setelah itu, masukkan cd yang tadi telah terisi mikrotik kedalam komputer server
kemudian hidupin komputer tersebut.
4. Tunggu hingga pada komputer muncul seperti dibawah ini :

5. Setelah itu tekan tombol ‘a’ (tanpa petik) untuk meng-install semua fasilitas
yang terdapat pada mikrotik
6. Biarkan saja porses berjalan, karena instalasi sedang berlangsung, mulai dari
formating disk hingga proses selesai instalasi, jika muncul tampilan seperti di
bawah ini maka instalasi telah selesai.
7. Setelah proses selesai, download lah tool bawaan mikrotik, (winbox) bisa di
download disini : http://www.mikrotik.co.id/getfile.php?nf=winbox-2.2.11.exe
8. Setelah itu tancapkan kabel dari modem ADSL ke lancard satu pada komputer
yang telah di install mikrotik
9. Kemudian LanCard kedua ke sebuah HUB / swicth untuk jaringan lokal.
10. Instalasi telah selesai dilakukan, sekarang remote komputer server yang telah di
instalasi di atas dengan winbox yang telah kita download, dengan menggunakan
komputer lain
RTRW–Net
11. Pilih router yang tadi kita install, default identity nya mikrotik, username
admin, password kosong
12. Pilih menu Interface, jika telah berjalan dengan benar, maka akan muncul 2
buah interface lancard.
13.Double Klik pada salah interface yang merujuk ke lokal dan beri nama Lokal
14. Dengan cara yang sama, Interface yang merujuk ke modem beri nama Publik
15.Setelah itu, pilih menu IP address
16.Muncul Tampilan seperti i bawah ini, kemudian tekan tombol plus + di pojok kiri
nya
17. Tambahkan Ip addressnya, misal
IP modem Speedy 192.168.1.1, maka IP pada mikrotik : 192.168.1.2/24
dan berinama
· kemudian tekan tombol plus + di pojok kiri nya, kmudian tambahkan IP
address nya Lancard Satunya lagi :
· misalnya Ip pada lokal 10.10.10.1, maka masukkan IP address
10.10.10.1/27, angka /27 untuk 30 host IP, anda bisa mempelajarinya

Gw kalw nulis suka nglantur kmana²,,, n ga jelas alur'y,,,, Sekarang nyoba fokus di perbaikan flasdisk gw yang pada rusak alias error atw Flash disk write protect atw bla..blaa..bllaa... (buka Bala²)
Berawal dari koleksi flasdik rusak gw yang jumlahnya ampe 7 buah.. (lumayan banyak klw di duitin 1 buah 100000 x 7 =700000) .. ntuh smua flasdisk gw yang rusak,,, ada yang kedetek tapi flasdisk write protect ada juga yang gak ke deteck sama sekali....!!

nak gw nyoba nanya ma mbah gogel (sepupu mbah marijan) hehehe..... Dan menurut petunjuk dari mbah ,, setelah menyediakn sesajen brupa Kopi item + rokok +cemilanya de el el....
katanya flasdisk ntuh bisa di benerin walaw gag smua ,,, tergantung kendalanya.... klw cewenya lahir hari slasa berarti gag cocok ma yg lahir hari Jum'at.....

Pertama siy gw kira nTuh data Hilang karna di umpetin ma VIRUS yang sukanya Nyembunyiin data Kita....Gw coba menggunakan jurus Andalan (sambil Menyingsingkan lengan baju..... ) bwat balikin ntuh data dengan membuka superHideen'y System ... dengan cara berukit...:

To comply with current Internet standards, Internet Explorer limits the number of simultaneous downloads to two downloads, plus one queued download. This configuration is a function of the browser. However, as connection speeds increase, and the number of total connections that are allowed to Internet servers increase, the two-connection limit may be restrictive.

Please Note: Changing the maximum number of connections beyond two is a violation of Internet standards; use at your own risk!

To increase the number of simultaneous connections that are allowed, follow these steps:

1. Start the Registry Editor
2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Internet Settings
3. Select New > DWORD Value from the Edit menu
4. Name the new value MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server
5. Right-click the MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server value and choose Modify
6. Under Base, click the radio button next to Decimal
7. In the Value Data: box enter the number of simultaneous connections you want to set (for example 10 is a good value), and 8. click OK
9. Repeat steps 3 - 7 using the new value MaxConnectionsPerServer
10. Exit the registry editor

Windows Explorer Tip
When launched in Windows Millennium/Win2k/WinXP,Explorer by default will open the "My Documents" folder. Many people prefer the behavior from previous versions of Windows, where Windows Explorer would open and display "My Computer" instead of the new way. To revert to the old way [My Computer by default rather than My Documents as the default], simply edit the shortcut to Windows Explorer, by right clicking on it, and left clicking "Properties" and changing the "Target" box to: "C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.EXE /n,/e," [adjust the path/drive letter if needed]. The key is to add the "/n,/e," to the end of the shortcut (don't type the quotes).
Backup your Fresh install
After you complete your clean install and get all your software installed I would recommend that you use something like Drive Image 3 or 4 to do an image of your install partition, then burn the image to CD and keep it. XP is a different creature for some people. If you mess it up when playing around with it, just bring the image back. You can be up and running again in 20 minutes vs. the two to three hours it will take to get the whole thing and all your stuff installed again.
Note the default install of XP is about 1.5gigs and the DI image may be larger that 700 meg. So don't install too much on the OS partition. To help downsize the Image I run the System file checker and reset the cache size to 40 or 50 meg (It's well over 300 by default).
To run it open the command prop and type:
SFC /?
SFC /purgecache
SFC /cachesize=50
and finally rebuild the cache with SFC /scannow (have the CD ready)
I also Delete the Pagefile.sys and hibernate.sys files before running Drive Image..

This procedure works under NTFS.

As times goes along you have a lot files on your computer. You are going to forget what they are. Well here is way to identify them as you scroll through Windows Explorer in the future.

1.. Open up a folder on your system that you want to keep track of the different files you might one to identify in the future.

2.. Under View make certain that you set it to the Details.

3.. Highlight the file you want to keep more information on. Right click the file and you will get a pop up menu. Click on properties.

4.. Click on the Summary Tab (make sure it says simple not advanced on the button in the box), You should now get the following fields,

Title,Subject, Author, Category, Keywords, Comments

You will see advanced also if you have changed it to simple, Here will be other fields you can fill in.

5.. Next you can fill in what ever field you want.

6.. After you finished click the apply button then OK.

7.. Next right click the bar above your files, under the address bar and you should get a drop down menu. Here you can click the fields you want to display.

8.. You should now see a list with the new fields and any comments you have done.

9.. Now if you want to sort these just right click a blank spot and then you sort the information to your liking.

Turn on a screen saver without having to wait by adding a shortcut to your desktop:

Click the Start button, and then click Search.
In the Search Companion window, click All file types.

In the file name box, type *.scr

In the Look in box, choose Local Hard Drives (C or the drive where you have system files stored on your computer.

Click Search.

You will see a list of screen savers in the results. Pick a screen saver you want. You can preview it by double-clicking it.

Right click on the file, choose Send To, and then click Desktop (create shortcut).

Speed up the Start Menu
=======================

The default speed of the Start Menu is pretty slow, but you can fix that by editing a Registry Key. Fire up the Registry Editor and navigate to the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Control Panel \ Desktop \ MenuShowDelay

By default, the value is 400. Change this to a smaller value, such as 0, to speed it up.


Speed up the Start Menu (Part two)

If your confounded by the slow speed of the Start Menu, even after using the tip above, then you might try the following: Navigate to Display Properties then Appearance then Advanced and turn off the option titled Show menu shadow . You will get much better overall performance.

Yes, firefox is already pretty damn fast but did you know that you can tweak it and improve the speed even more?

That's the beauty of this program being open source.
Here's what you do:
In the URL bar, type “about:config” and press enter. This will bring up the configuration “menu” where you can change the parameters of Firefox.

Note that these are what I’ve found to REALLY speed up my Firefox significantly - and these settings seem to be common among everybody else as well. But these settings are optimized for broadband connections - I mean with as much concurrent requests we’re going to open up with pipelining… lol… you’d better have a big connection.

Double Click on the following settins and put in the numbers below - for the true / false booleans - they’ll change when you double click.

One more thing… Right-click somewhere on that screen and add a NEW -> Integer. Name it “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and set its value to “0”. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives. Since you’re broadband - it shouldn’t have to wait.

Now you should notice you’re loading pages MUCH faster now!
